Attorney-at-law Anna Stępień-Sporek
She obtained the scientific degree of PhD in Law in 2005. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk in 2002. She also graduated from the Academy of European Law at the European University Institute in Florence and from the German Law School organized by the University of Gdańsk in cooperation with the University of Cologne. Additionally, she completed a course on the American legal system organized by the Chicago-Kent College of Law and the University of Gdańsk. In 2005, she passed her judicial exam. She obtained the attorney-at-law license in 2006.
She has worked as a lawyer since 2001. She specializes in civil law, including the law of contracts, tort law, business agreements, family law, the business activity of spouses, and companies law.
Anna Stępień-Sporek PhD is also involved in the research work at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. She is the author of over 50 publications on civil law, including a few monographs and course books. She is a member of the International Society of Family Law and the Interdisciplinary Association of Comparative and Private Law. At present, she is a vice-president of the Young Scientists Council at the Minister of Science and Higher Education office.
